Administrative Assistant

Barber Financial Group is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team.

Primary Duties

  • Provide administrative support to C-level executive and their direct reports while maintaining a high level of integrity and professionalism in handling confidential material Process incoming and outgoing correspondence
  • Handle mail and occasional phone calls for the department
  • Assist clients with the portal and electronic signing
  • Assist in maintaining data in tracking software and CRM
  • Work collaboratively to provide overflow and backup support to other team members

The BFG Tax Service team is currently composed of energetic professionals dedicated to creating high-quality tax experiences for our clients. The team is expanding to meet the needs of our growing organization.

Primary Duties:

  • Grow your client base through leads generated by our marketing team as well as referrals
  • Conduct client reviews
  • Attend and assist in the close of prospective client meetings
  • Create comprehensive financial plans, incorporating tax, risk, and estate planning
  • Using the financial plan, make investment recommendations based on models provided by the firm.
  • Manage and coordinate the associate advisor on the team
  • Grow your book of business through the generation of referrals
  • Maintain accurate data in CRM (Salesforce)
  • Undergraduate Degree
  • Series 65 (or equivalent)
  • Five years advisory experience

The ideal candidate has a growing book of business and the desire to deliver a client experience that includes access to an in-house tax planning staff, estate planning attorneys, and insurance professionals.

Job Duties:

  • Participates and conducts client and prospect meetings.
  • Prepares the Financial Planning recommendations

Qualifications:

  • CFP, CFA, CPA or other similar accredited certifications
  • Relevant Bachelor’s Degree (Finance, Accounting or Business Administration)
  • Ability to maintain and grow book of business
  • 3 years financial services industry experience
  • Has current Series 65 (or equivalent)
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Has existing book of clients that includes minimum of $20 million in client assets.
