Operations Specialist

Barber Financial Group is seeking an Investment Operations Specialist to join our team.

The primary function of this role is to ensure that all paperwork and account transfers requested by the sales teams are processed accurately and completely in a timely manner. This position requires working collaboratively with the sales and operations department to ensure accuracy and an excellent overall experience for our clients.

Primary Duties:

  • Responsible for accurately generating all account paperwork for prospects and clients using a combination of DocuSign and paper forms and collaborating with advisors on complex paperwork.
  • Following up with clients or other financial firms on status or issues with account transfers.
  • Responsible for the new account processes, including – working with operations assistant to ensure all documents are uploaded into the digital storage system and working with the billing team to ensure updates to client fees are processed correctly and with the necessary forms.
  • Manage a queue of paperwork requests, following up with clients, and alerting the sales team of any issues.
  • Monitor incoming and outgoing transactions within investment accounts
  • Process client service requests and client review prep as assigned by sales teams
  • Ensure fields in Salesforce are completed as needed
  • Process incoming deposits
  • Work in financial planning software to make updates as needed
  • Other projects as assigned

Content Manager

Barber Financial Group is looking for a Content Manager to join our Marketing Team.

The Content Manager will work closely with the Director of Marketing and the Marketing Data Analyst to coordinate our content across all channels. The Content Manager needs to be an organized yet creative individual that works well in a team setting. The Marketing Team is a fun and creative environment where new ideas are always encouraged.

Primary Duties:

  • Writing articles
  • Writing and editing marketing collateral (white papers, brochures, etc.)
  • Editing articles for grammar and SEO
