Bringing nearly two decades of experience, Jason focuses his practice in the areas of estate planning, estate and trust administration, special needs planning, and tax planning.
Jason has created a process that not only helps families plan for their financial capital (what they own), but also for their human capital (who they are) and intellectual capital (what they know). Jason’s journey to build this unique approach began on September 11, 2001, when his oldest brother was killed in the terrorist attacks in New York City. Jason serves his clients by first learning their goals and concerns, and works to help his clients develop plans that reflect their unique situations, and provide counsel based on years of experience and research.
Jason helps families plan for the future of their dependents with special needs. Jason educates and helps families understand the complexity of government benefit eligibility, and the phases of planning for children with special needs.
Jason’s extensive tax education and experience allows him to help clients identify and develop solutions to income, estate, and gift tax concerns.
Jason earned his B.S. and Master’s in Accountancy from the University of Missouri- Columbia, Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri- Columbia, and his Master of Law in Taxation from the University of Missouri- Kansas City.
Jason is admitted to practice in the states of Missouri, Kansas, and Illinois.
Jason loves to spend time with his wife Molly and their two beautiful daughters, Anna and Maria. When not with his family, Jason is an avid golfer and can usually be found on a golf course or practice range.
